#15Homes4Nepal

Thanks to your generous support, we raised $12,000 to build 15 permanent homes for 15 families who were left homeless in the April 2015 earthquakes.  Construction work was completed by the People's Development Foundation in Nepal.

Semi-Permanent Homes

Our first project was to fund the building of semi-permanent homes for 20 families of the Nuwakot district of Nepal. These families were left homeless and living under tarps after the April 2015 earthquake. With your donations and PDF's work, these families have shelter in their temporary home.  These homes can last up to 15 years.

THE NEPAL PROJECTS

Rick McFarland, owner of FiftyFilms, has made numerous trips to Nepal to capture the beauty and spirit of the country and people for the feature film Highway to Dhampus, which will be theatrically released in 2015. His experiences there gave him and his wife, Kathy, a great desire to offer support where possible. Kathy acted on this desire and founded Mind the Gap Worldwide, to build, strengthen and sustain individuals and families in need.

Since the earthquake, Mind the Gap Worldwide (MGW) has partnered with FiftyFilms and the People’s Development Foundation, a Nepali charity, to provide relief to those suffering from the earthquakes in Nepal.
